Welcome, Washington Scrabble Players!

Join us for Scrabble and dining events held in casual settings throughout DC and NOVA!! We start our games roughly around 6 pm and most people stay around for one or two more games after that till about 9 p.m. This group is not focused on tournament play. The level of play is varied. Some of our members play on a regular basis while many others are learning the game or have not played in years.

We play open book Scrabble, where use of a dictionary is permitted during the game. Our turnout for an event is generally between eight to twenty people. We play every other week rotating between casual restaurants in DC and Virginia on different nights of the week. We do sometimes request a $1-$2 donation to cover the cost of Meetup.com's fees. We invite you to join us for a fun evening...beginners and first timers are always welcome!
