Scrabble

Mark will be hosting an event at Cosi in Reston Town Centre. It's very close to the Metro bus stop and one block from the Unos.

We start our games roughly around 6 pm. If you arrive much later you may have to wait for a game. Most people stay around for one or two more games after that till about 9 p.m. This group is not focused on tournament play. The level of play is varied. Some of our members play on a regular basis while many others are learning the game or have not played in years. We play open book Scrabble, where use of a dictionary is permitted during the game. Our turnout for an event is generally between eight to twenty people. We play every other week rotating between restaurants in DC and Virginia on different nights of the week. The restaurants are all casual and have reasonably priced menus. If you have a Scrabble boardgame, please bring it along. We do request a $2 donation to cover the cost of Meetup.com's fees.
