    I'm sorry that Tui had such a poor experience at her first meetup. We have folks with a variety of skill levels (beginners ARE welcome!), but when she got there the only folks available were some of our top players--and they can be intimidating. We try to alleviate that by giving all the new players free challenges and help them play if they want, but I think that when we told her it was not okay to look in the book before making a play that was too much for her. Hopefully she'll try again.

We had one new player, who left without finishing her game--I think we were a little to intense for her expectations. And another guy stopped by to check us out, but couldn't stay to play. ”
