If you enjoy playing Scrabble, then this is the group for you. We don't get to competitive; this group is really about playing a fun game and enjoying the company. No need to bring a board, but do plan to have a drink or a nosh. We generally meet every Thursday at Au Coquelet Cafe in downtown Berkeley. Feel free to add other dates/venues. No fees, but do buy at least a drink or some food from the cafe.

Queer and Trans Scrabblers - Oakland is a group of living, breathing homo gays who get together once a month to play scrabble at a local cafe. Typically, the group is small but outgoing and anyone who identifies as queer, trans, gay, lesbian, butch, etc is welcome. We bring at least two boards, name tags and the sacred Scrabble dictionary. RSVPing is encouraged so we save enough room for you in the cafe.
